When the charging case lid is opened and the pairing table is empty (out-of-box or after a factory reset), the earbuds will boot into pairing mode.

If the earbuds establish a connection with the dongle, the pairing table is no longer considered empty, so earbuds will no longer automatically boot into pairing mode, even if a Bluetooth connection has never been established.

There is currently a known issue where if the earbuds establish a connection with the low latency adapter while in pairing mode, pairing mode will be canceled. For this reason, the dongle should not be powered-on when trying to pair the earbuds to a Bluetooth device.

There is currently a known issue that causes pairing mode to fail (indicated by a red LED) shortly after being initiated if the earbuds have not been powered-on for an extended period of time. Re-entering pairing mode will work as expected.
If the 2.4 GHz USB-C low-latency dongle is powered-on and within range, the earbuds will always favor a connection to the 2.4 GHz low-latency dongle. If this happens, you will have to switch to Bluetooth mode by long-pressing the button on the 2.4 GHz USB-C dongle for at least 3 seconds. You’ll hear a sound notification confirming the mode switch.
