Make sure the wireless USB adapter and the headset are disconnected from the PC before continuing.

  1. Open Device Manager. Normally, you should be able to right click the Start button and select it in the list.
  2. Click “View” on the top of the window and check “Show hidden devices."
  3. Under “Sound, video and game controllers”, double-click the respective device listing for your headset. 
    1. Under the “Driver” tab, click “Uninstall Device."
    2. Make sure “Attempt to remove the driver for this device” is checked.
    3. Click “Uninstall."
  4. Under “Software components”, double-click “DTS Audio Effects Component."
    1. Under the “Driver” tab, click “Uninstall Device.”
    2. Click “Uninstall.”
  5. Restart your PC
